Scholarship Eligibility Requirements:

To be considered for the Auburn State University Scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

Minimum Qualifications: Ideal candidates will have the following:

  • BSc (or expected completion) in forestry, ecology, environmental science, geography, or related field
  • Interest in forest disturbance ecology and climate change
  • Experience with fieldwork in forest ecosystems
  • Strong quantitative skills (R preferred)
  • Experience with GIS or remote sensing is an asset.
  • Willingness to work in remote field conditions

Scholarship Benefits:

The Auburn University Scholarship covers;

  • Full tuition fees
  • $20,000 Annual living stipend

The student will also be encouraged to apply for other scholarships (e.g., NSERC CGS-M, UNBC internal scholarships) and teaching assistantships.
