The University of California, San Francisco is offering a Fellowship in Orthodontics for domestic and international orthodontists. This program includes didactic learning, clinical observation, and research opportunities under the guidance of distinguished faculty.
Applicants must have a qualification in orthodontics, at least two years of practice experience, three recommendation letters, and meet J-1 visa requirements if applicable. The program awards a certificate of participation upon completion. Applications are accepted for four modules throughout the year, with specific deadlines for each.
Scholarship Deadline:
- Fall Module (Oct. 1 – Dec. 31): Application by April 15
- Winter Module (Jan. 1 – Mar 31): Application by July 15
- Spring Module (Apr 1 – Jun 30): Application by October 15

- Admissible Criteria:Â To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
- Hold a qualification in orthodontics
- Have at least two years of practice experience in a dental school’s orthodontic program or in private practice
- Provide three letters of recommendation
- Submit TOEFL scores if from non-English-speaking countries (score of 550 or equivalent)
- Meet J-1 visa requirements for international applicants.

- Non-refundable application fee of $250
